Most members of the Friday Burger team gathered for one last time on 18 September (which was, coincidently, National Cheeseburger Day!) to acknowledge their efforts over the summer months in providing the lunchtime meal through rain or shine to the Legion faithful and numerous first-time customers. The team wishes to thank all of our customers for their patronage during the summer, as well as our bar staff who made sure there was something to wash all that food down. Team lead Dave Marshall is most grateful to all the members who , together, amassed over 400 hours of volunteer time in supporting the Burger Friday event as well as the 2026 Westport Car Show this season.
